Schönbrunn Castle and the World’s oldest Zoo

We start at Gloriette, one of the top sightseeing attractions in Vienna and vantage point. Then we have a Guided Grand Tour in the Schönbrunn Palace (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Schönbrunn Palace is one of Austria’s most important cultural assets.

Afterwards we discover the World’s oldest and most historical Zoo (Tiergarten Schönbrunn) (UNESCO World Heritage Site), it is indeed an unforgettable experience.

Lunch at Café Restaurant Kaiserpavillon

1751 a menagerie was constructed consisting of thirteen animal enclosures arranged radially around a central pavilion. It forms the visual emphasis of the great diagonal axis connecting the centre of the palace and the pavilion. We have lunch at the central single-storeyed pavilion, where the imperial couple occasionally took breakfast.

On this eventful guided tour we stop at the highlights of the Zoo. We experience the unique combination of imperial ambience and modern animal husbandry in the best zoo in Europe and the oldest zoo in the world.
